By using HiSubmit, you agree to use the service lawfully, provide accurate information and respect the rights of artists, festivals, reviewers, ticket holders and other users.

Accounts and responsibilities

Keep your credentials secure and do not use another person’s account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, project data, festival rules, uploaded files and communications. Festival roles grant access only within the festival scope assigned to them.

Submissions, stores and tickets

Artists must own or have permission to submit their work. Festivals must publish truthful eligibility, deadline, fee, ticket and product information. A checkout confirms the selected order subject to the applicable payment provider and the festival’s published rules.

Consumer information, cancellation and refunds

Before a paid order, HiSubmit and the relevant festival or seller must clearly show the seller identity, price, applicable taxes or charges, delivery or performance information and the applicable cancellation or refund conditions. Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, consumers generally have 14 days for distance contracts. Exceptions can apply to leisure services on a specific date or period (including event tickets) and to digital content once supply begins after the consumer’s express consent and acknowledgement. Festival-specific refund rules must be shown with the relevant order and cannot reduce mandatory consumer rights.

Fees and settlement

Submission fees belong to the festival workflow. HiSubmit service fees are separate platform charges and are shown before payment. A settlement is a period-based statement; saving payout information does not itself transfer money. Refunds, disputes and provider decisions remain subject to the applicable payment provider and published festival policy.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape, probe, overload or bypass access controls; distribute malware; impersonate another user; copy protected work without permission; manipulate judging; or use the service to violate law or another person’s rights. We may suspend access to protect users and the service.

Service changes

HiSubmit may improve, change or temporarily suspend features for maintenance, security or legal reasons. These terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change.
